Technical diving is a step beyond recreational diving.  An equipment intensive and potentially risky pursuit, tec diving allows you to explore beyond the standard limits of recreational diving.

Tec Diving can be said to be any type of diving that takes the diver beyond the standard recreational diving limits, defined by depth up to 40m , decompression and overhead environment.

As such, Tec Diving comprises a range of environments and situations, and requires a progressive approach to gaining skills and experience with the knowledge, procedures and equipment required to undertake Tec Diving.
